Joe Canlan-Shaw, Matthew Corbett, Matthew Sanderson and Emma Ball, warmed up for this weekend's British Championships at Sheffield as City of Oxford finished second in the final round of the Home Counties League at Aylesbury.

Canlan-Shaw won the 100m individual medley, Corbett the 100m backstroke, and Sanderson the 100m butterfly, while their men's open teammate James Warren won the 100m freestyle. They also won the relay.

Ball was second in the open 100m individual medley and 100m breaststroke, as was Laura Ralph in the 100m butterfly and freestyle.

In the 11 & under age group, Mia Newman landed the 50m backstroke and freestyle. She also helped them win the relay.

Imogen Kempton (11/u) and Carla Prince (15 & under) were second in their respective breaststroke categories, as were Carly Hayles in the backstroke (15 & under), and Allanor Jenkins-Strong in the open free.

In the boys' section, Sam van de Schootbrugge, 13, competing in the 15 & under category, won the individual 100m butterfly, while Drew Finnigan took the 13 & under 50m backstroke.

Simon Ward was second in the 13 & under butterfly.

For Witney, Heidi Brooke-Little took the swimmer-of-the-match award after winning the 11 & under breaststroke. Joint runners-up were Kieran Foggett (15 & under) and Graham Cable (open men).

Nathan Harkin, 11, won the 13 & under boys' butterfly, while personal bests were recorded by Ottlie Uden, Ella Gorman, Kitty Gorman, Annaliese Whiteley, Callum McLean , Daniel Possee, Mark Kemp and Tom Mayho.

WITNEY B finished second in their Home Counties gala at Dunstable.

Naomi Moore won the girls' 13 & under butterfly and swimmer-of-the-match award.

Joseph Greenman, who won the boys 11 & under backstroke, shared the runners-up vote with Chantal Clavaud, winner of the ladies' IM and backstroke.

Adam Colling and Ellen Moore also won.
