City of Oxford had to be content with third in the Oxford & North Buckinghamshire County Championships.
They finished behind winners Maxwell and second-placed City of Milton Keynes.
In the junior section, Witney were second, just being outpointed by Maxwell also took the top honours in the junior section of the competition.
Bicester finished sixth.
In the 16-year-old junior and open age groups, Matthew Corbett from City of Oxford who walked off with an armful of trophies, across a multitude of disciplines.
The medals were a little more evenly spread in the junior girls events with Emma Ball and Laura Ralph of Oxford featuring prominently, while Joe Canlan-Shaw, Pippa Canlan-Shaw and James Warren were regular visitors to the podium.
