HANNAH Green is targeting the European Junior Synchro-nised Swimming Champion-ships in 2011 after making rapid progress in the sport.
The teenager, from Eynsham, is ranked first in the British junior squad and has already competed in the senior national championships.
Green, who is studying for her GCSEs at Bartholomew School, Eynsham, joined the Reading Royals Synchronised Swimming Club from Witney Synchro last year.
Green helped Reading to a silver medal in the British Championships and was part of the British 13-15-year-old team at the Comen Cup in Belgrade, Serbia.
- SWIMMERS from Abingdon Vale SC and the Manor Prep School took part in a breaststroke/butterfly masterclass given by two members of the Great Britain team – Ian Hulme and Michael Jamieson.
The youngsters learned new stroke techniques and drills which will help them in the county championships over this and next weekend.
The swimmers spent two hours in the water followed by an interactive talk on nutrition and a chance for autographs.
