CARTERTON were held to a 2-2 draw at Stony Stratford in Division 3 of the Thames Valley League.
Stony Stratford took the lead against the run of play on 19 minutes when a cross-shot hit a post and ran along the goal-line for Kirsty James to tap home.
As the half drew to a close, Carterton equalised when a pass from Kayleigh Murphy set up Stacey Oakley, who slotted into the bottom corner.
Seven minutes from time, Carterton looked like that had secured victory when Sophie Thomas struck a fine shot into the roof of the net.
But the home side hit back and four minutes into stoppage time, James scored her second to deny Carterton the win.
