South West 1 East
Two tries from outstanding flanker Will Woodward could not save Wallingford from a 23-19 home defeat to Marlow.
Wallingford took the lead when fly half Angus Brettell set up Woodward to race in and wing Ralph Smith converted.
But two tries and a penalty put Marlow 13-7 ahead at the break, although Wallingford felt they were aided by some questionable refereeing.
The hosts regained the lead against the run of play when prop Kris Blaszko cut open the defence and fed Woodward for his second.
A converted try put Marlow 20-12 ahead before they added a penalty.
The final play saw scrum half Matt Dawes squeeze over and Blaszko convert.
