Zamaretto Southern League
North Leigh 1, Uxbridge 1
AARON Posey grabbed an equaliser five minutes from time as North Leigh extended their unbeaten run to to eight matches in Division 1 South & West.
On a very heavy Eynsham Park pitch, the first half was goalless, but the introduction of Chris Allen and Alfie Saunders gave North Leigh some impetus.
However, it was Uxbridge who went in front.
A swift break down the left saw David Thomas deliver a pinpoint cross for Lee Tunnell, who rose to power home a header.
With ten minutes left, Dennison pulled off a superb save to tip over Posey’s header, but North Leigh were not to be denied.
Saunders’s jinking run into the box set up Posey to pounce on a loose ball to snatch a deserved share of the spoils.
North Leigh: Lonsdale, Hole, Caton, Jackson (Hutter 78), Huxley, Dodds, Reardon, Burnell (Saunders 62), Futcher (Allen 62), McCabe, Posey.
Attendance: 54.
