The Terry Kibble-trained Orion Ben marked his elevation to the top grade with another superb performance to win in 27.68secs on Saturday.
It was the black dog’s fifth win from six races having started out in an A5 grade in early January.
Saturday’s meeting saw the biggest attendance this year with more than 1,000 filling the restaurant and terraces.
