Dave Gardner ended Eamonn Deeley’s 100 per cent record in Gladiators B’s 7-3 win against Vikings D in the Oxford & District Table Tennis League.

They also lost top spot in Division 2 to Viking E who beat Begbroke A 6-4.

Bicester A beat Rutherford 6-4 then drew with Vikings B, with maximums in both from Tony Gorman.

Gareth Hayward got two maximums as Vikings A defeated Vikings B and beat British Rail, both 7-3. Mark Scott also hit a maximum against Vikings B.

Vikings C beat Gladiators A 8-2, with three wins for Jingyu Sun and David Mottershead.

Witney A kept up their Division 3 promotion bid with 7-3 wins over Forum G and Vikings F.
