Oxfordshire's Joe Roberts and Dan Blair won silver and bronze medals respectively in the Badminton England under 13 tournament at Stroud.
Roberts pipped Blair 21-18 in the semi-finals before losing to Welsh No 1 Tomos Whiteman 21-14.
The result saw Blair achieve the Badminton England bronze grading, which Roberts had attained earlier in the season.
Blair’s older brother Jamie also secured bronze status at an under 17 tournament in Haywards Heath, Sussex.
- OXFORD A upset title hopefuls Headington A 5-4 in Division 1 of the Oxford & District League.
Headington were without county first-team player Dave Soanes, while Rob Griffiths and Pete Browning won all three of their rubbers for Oxford.
In Division 4, Dawn Torgersen and Richard Chamberlain were unbeaten in two matches as Abingdon C beat St Clements and Leys C, 8-1 and 6-3 respectively.
