Chris Da Silva hit a hat-trick as Vale of White Horse Under 15s beat Mid Oxon 4-2 in the Hobbs Cup semi-final at Milton United.

Alex Smith also netted for Vale, with Mid Oxon replying through Declan Sheppard and Tom Weedon.

Vale will meet Oxford, Swindon or Cheltenham in the final.

JACOB Hughes bagged a brace as Mid Oxon Under 14s saw off hosts Newbury 3-1 in the Vale Cup at Henwick Worthy Sports Ground.

Skipper Sam Humphreys fired home a superb free-kick for Mid Oxon, while Newbury pulled one back five minutes from time.

JOE Hartley’s first-half double helped Vale of White Horse Under 11s to a 5-0 win over Portsmouth in the County League at Oxford Brookes Westminster Institute of Education.

Alex Haylor, Kieran Ormrod and Luke Ballard also netted for Vale.

STEPHEN Freeman (Didcot) reeled off a hat-trick of wins to be crowned Oxfordshire champions in the county final of the ESFA Under 11 boys’ seven-a-side competition at Our Lady’s, Abingdon.

They posted 1-0 victories over Our Lady’s (Cowley) and North Kidlington, before clinching the title with a 2-0 win over Thomas Reade (Abingdon).

Blewbury triumphed in the Oxfordshire final of the ESFA Under 11 Small Schools’ seven-a-side competition at the same venue.

They beat St Joseph’s (Carterton) 2-0 and Sunningwell 5-3.

Bayards Hill (Headington) captured the Oxon title in the county final of the ESFA Under 11 girls’ seven-a-side competition, also held at Our Lady’s, Abingdon.

They drew their opening game 0-0 against All Saints (Didcot), before beating hosts Our Lady’s 7-0 and William Fletcher (Kidlington) 2-0.

WALLINGFORD Under 12s finished runners-up in a south of England five-a-side tournament at Soccer City, Fareham.

They battled their way through to the final where they went down 3-0 to Oasis Academy (Southampton).
