GREAT Tew A demolished previously-unbeaten Sandford St Martin by 48 runs to go top of Division 2 of the Banbury Indoor League.

Batting first, young Matt Taylor top-scored with 33 not out as Tew rattled up 111-5 from their ten overs.

Sandford then crashed to 63 all out in just 6.3 overs, despite 21 from Chris Thompson.

Westbury edged to a two-wicket win over Radway.

Sam Douthwaite hit 21 in Radway’s 105-4.

Westbury got off to a bad start in their chase, losing two wickets in the first over.

But Michael Loggin’s 31 not out and Andy Clarke’s 29 not out saw them home with an over to spare.

Cropredy had no problems as they cruised past Bodicote by six wickets.

Luke Cherry took 2-22 as Bodicote were restricted to 72-5, before Peter Cooling (28no) and Wayne Hazell (20no) saw Cropredy to 73-0 with four overs left.

Sandford St Martin A thumped Chadlington by 48 runs.

Chas Taylor hit 38 in Sandford’s 113 all out, before Chadlington crashed to 65 all out in reply, Paul Duester top-scoring with 21.
