Vale of White Horse Under 14s were blitzed by a three-goal salvo at the start of the second half as Cheltenham ran out 3-0 winners of their Vale Cup clash at Milton United.

The visitors fired their terrific treble inside the first ten minutes after the break, with Charlie Petri scoring twice and Courtney Duffus also netting.

Vale had started brightly, with Michael Cole and Conor Ingram having early chances, while keeper Hayden Jones made three great saves to keep the game goalless at half-time.

JOE Hartley grabbed the winner as Vale of White Horse Under 11s beat Oxford City 1-0 to be crowned Oxfordshire champions in the ESFA Inter Association seven-a-side competition.

Hartley showed brilliant close control to beat a defender and the keeper before slipping the ball home in the first half of the final at St Edmund’s Primary School, Abingdon.

Now Vale go on to represent Oxon in the south west regional finals in Bristol on Saturday, March 27.
