Oxford’s Hannah England produced a sensational display to win the Fred Lebow Women’s Mile at the Millrose Games track and field event in Madison Square Garden in New York.
The Oxford City athlete won with a time of 4.31.58.
Meanwhile, fellow City athlete Nathan Douglas helped Britian win an international match in Glasgow.
Douglas finished second in the triple jump with a leap of 16.68m.
