Deddington sealed the Banbury Indoor League in style with a 6-0 win over Bowling Green.

Steve Arthurs, who hit a maximum the previous week, led the way with 14 dolls, including a six in the first leg.

Punchbowl’s Pete Coates was the week’s top scorer with a hat-trick of fives for 15 dolls in the 3-3 draw against Gin’ll Fix It in the Kidlington Indoor League.

  • THE funeral service for well-known aunt sally player Gavin Anderson will take place at Oxford Crematorium on Monday (12noon).

Mr Anderson, 59, who played for many years in the Oxford & District, Kidlington and South Oxford leagues, died at Sobell House, Oxford, on Monday, January 18.

A collection by the Kidlington Indoor League this week raised £140 for Sobell House.
