Banbury went top of South Clubs’ League Division 3A after they overwhelmed Hampstead & Westminster 6-2 with their best performance of the season so far.

Natasha Nunneley picked up her second hat-trick of the season with Victoria Page, Olivia Matthews and captain Lara Wilkinson also scoring.

Rachel Lammey hit a hat-trick as City of Oxford hammered Oxford Hawks 2nd 5-0 in Division 3A – but the scoreline didn’t tell the whole story. City raced into an early three-goal lead, but then Hawks had strong pressure and outplayed the home side at times, only to concede two more. Lisa Scragg and Anna Nicholson got City’s other goals.

West Witney drew 2-2 with West Hampstead, courtesy of a fine individual goal from Sadie Lapper and a second in the second half by Katie Gatt.

Rover Oxford 2nd secured an important 1-0 win at top-of-the-table Amersham & Chalfont in Premier 1 of the Trysports 3 Counties League.

Rover were unlucky not to score on ten minutes, Lynn Cockshott’s strike bringing a diving save from the keeper.

The winner came in the second half from a well-worked short corner, Caro Harris making no mistake.

Mel Banton’s penalty flick helped bring City of Oxford 2nd a 1-1 draw at Windsor in Premier 2.

Hawks did not have a league game, so they played Towcester in a friendly, and beat them 2-1 with goals by Henri Coles and Kathryn Poulter.
