Tom Austin’s winner nine minutes from time sent Wantage up to second place in the Premier Division on Saturday in the FTL Futbol Hellenic league.

The visitors took the lead with their first attack when Michael Duerden ran through unopposed to slot past Wantage keeper Rob Durrant.

Danny Keen then struck the bar and a post for Wantage.

In the second half, Wantage were denied a goal when Gary Swann seemed to force an Austin corner over the line, but the officials ruled the ball had not gone in.

But the home side were level soon after when Matt Biddle’s shot squirmed in through a crowded box.

Substitute Liam McCullough set up Austin for the winner, the winger’s shot fizzing past Carterton keeper James Domm to seal the points.

Pegasus Juniors 1 (Mowen 68)

Ardley Utd 2 (Bryan 15, Bridges 50)

Ardley United picked up a fine victory against ten-man Pegasus in Herefordshire.

They went in front when Danny Clarke played a ball to Troy Bryan, who shot across the home keeper into the net.

Pegasus had Anthony Robbins sent off midway through the half for a two-footed challenge on Tom Green.

Early in the second period, the visitors doubled their lead when Stuart Bridges fired home.

Andy Mowen pulled one back, but Ardley held on for the points.

Abingdon Tn 1 (Johnson og 30)

Bicester Tn 0

An own goal from Chris Johnson midway through the first half condemneed Bicester Town to defeat at Abingdon Town.

The defeat leaves Bicester rooted to the foot of the table with just one win all season.

Kidlington 3 (Quainton 25, Flanagan 70, Baker 79)

Flackwell Heath 0

Kidlington cruised to victory over Flackwell Heath at Yarnton Road.

After Jack Quainton had given them a half-time lead, the visitors had Mark Weedon sent off for a second booking.

Mark Flanagan doubled the lead with a powerful header 20 minutes from time, before Mark Baker completed victory.

Milton Utd 4 (Summers 4, Concannon 22, 60, Williams 35)

Penn & Tylers Green 0

Former Didcot striker Ian Concannon scored twice on his Milton debut in Division 1 East.

Jonny Summers put the home side in front with a shot from just inside the area, before Anthony Alleyne set up Concannon to double the lead.

Ryan Williams then made it 3-0 with a superb lob from just outside the box.

Concannon bagged his second on the hour when he calmly slotted home.

Letcombe 1 (Horswell 17)

North Leigh Res 2 (Keyes pen 33, Hutter 43)

North Leigh Res came from behind to beat Letcombe in Division 1 West.

Pete Horswell put Letcombe ahead, but when Mark de la Coze stopped a shot shot with an arm, he was sent off, Lee Keyes fired home the penalty.

Ten minutes later, Letcombe failed to clear a corner and Ben Hutter netted.

Kieran Davis was sent off for a second booking after the break, but North Leigh held on.

Launton Sports 1 (Durrant 47)

Winterbourne Utd 4 (Vile 16, 59, Potts 33, Cameron 35)

Launton are still looking for their first points after this defeat.

Sam Vile put the visitors in front, and further strikes from Jimmy Potts and Scott Cameron made it 3-0.

Lee Durrant, who was later sent off for two bookings, reduced the arrears early in the second half, only for Vile score a fourth for the visitors.
