Michelle James fires home a long-range effort for Oxford City Midnight Stars
AMY Hadden and Sarah Poulter both notched trebles as Oxford City Midnight Stars cruised to a 9-1 victory over Telford in Midlands Division 1 of the Women’s League.
Telford came to Oxpens Road with something to prove after a 9-3 mauling on their own ice, and they took the lead midway through the first period.
But that was as good as it got for the visitors.
Michelle James equalised moments later, before Hadden and Poulter scored their trebles to put Stars in command.
Two further goals followed to wrap up victory.
