Headington Amateurs 2 (Morbey 4, Zaja 17)

Wootton Bassett 3 (Philpott 9, Shand 49, 54)

Headington, who had led twice, lost out to a second-half double from Craig Shand in an entertaining Division 1 West game An explosive start saw Headington in front after four minutes, Liam Morbey heading in at the near post from Luke Cuff’s right-wing cross.

Their lead was short-lived though as Philpott bundled home a header from a free-kick after just nine minutes.

Headington were soon back in front, Ollie Zaja finishing from close in after Neil Lockhart played him in.

In the second half, Shand levelled just after the break.

Bassett were enjoying their best period at this stage and scored the winninig goal when Shand chested a cross down and slotted into the net with aplomb.
