Ian Moss, of the Butchers Arms, Witney, completed a magical double by adding the Greene King Oxford & District Darts Association Summer League singles title to the winter league crown he won earlier this year.

He overcame a stout challenge from College Oak’s Mark Breakspear to record a 2-1 victory in front of a large crowd at Rover Cowley Sports & Social Club.

Folly Bridge’s Trish Howard came from a leg down to lift the ladies’ summer league singles title for the first time with a 2-1 win over Florence Park Community Centre’s Carol Harwood.

Both players were on a double in a thrilling decider, and it was Howard who hit the target.

Steventon Social Club’s Matt Smith and Martin Turnbull edged out Cowley Workers Social Club’s Lyndon Richards and Simon Powell 2-1 in the men’s summer league pairs final.

Shelley Arms’s Denise Pape and Pat Newman have now six pairs titles between them after defeating Florence Park’s Clare Bywaters and Tina Hamilton 2-0 in a high-scoring ladies’ final.

Premier League champions Marston RBL C completed the double when they lifted the George Pegram Seven-a-Side Cup with a 4-3 victory over Cowley Workers Social Club.

Roger Haines was Marston’s hero, beating Bob Freemire in a nail-biting decider.

Marston’s Steve Foster had defeated Mo Oliver in the opener. But Cowley Workers hit back through Simon Powell and Lyndon Richards, before Nigel Russell and Ollie Varney swung the final back in Marston’s favour.

A brilliant win by Des Slezak over Ronnie Anderson set up an exciting decider, but Haines held his nerve to give Marston victory.

Florence Park Community Centre retained the Margaret Davies Memorial Ladies’ Seven-a-Side Cup with a 4-1 victory over Vikings Social Club.

Jo Gleed hit a 125-finish (57-36-32) for Florence Park to pip Chris Gerkin in the opener.

Pat Davis beat Angie Pointin to level the match, but Bywaters, Harwood and captain Michelle Ewins reeled off the next three legs to clinch victory for Florence Park.
