Batsmen again ruled the roost as Kidlington recorded a crushing victory over Cumnor in Section B of the Oxfordshire Indoor League.

Batting first, Kidlington amassed a huge 175-1, Ali Morteza leading the way with an unbeaten 53.

Andy Buckingham, Shazad Rana and Javeed Faruq all chipped in with useful contributions, before Cumnor were skittled out for 59 in reply.

Cumnor succumbed for just 39 in their other match as they crashed to a 73-run defeat against Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts.

Sam White top-scored with 25 in Nondies’ 112 all out, before taking 3-4 as Cumnor collapsed.

  • CROPREDY edged past Deddington by eight runs to stay top of Division 3 of the Banbury Indoor League.

Batting first, Cropredy posted 129-3 from their ten overs.

Deddington’s reply was built around Shane Faulkner’s 47 not out, but 2-16 from Han Vanreen saw them finish short on 121-7.

Charlbury A defeated Hinton by 34 runs.

Tom Nash (30no) and Cameron Geekie (25) saw Charlbury to 106-4, before Jon Geekie took 4-17 as Hinton were restricted to 72-5 in reply.
