St Thomas More ended West Kidlington’s domination of the Kidlington School Sport Partnership Tag Rugby Festival at Stratfield Brake.
Winners for the first four years that the competition has been staged, West Kidlington had to settle for joint third spot with Edward Feild this time as St Thomas More beat North Kidlington by one try in the final.
St Thomas More and North Kidlington now go forward to the County Partnership Final back at Stratfield Brake on November 16.
Sixteen teams took part, with Edward Feild responsible for half the entry.
Sports leaders from Gosford Hill helped out during the festival, while Gosford All Blacks RFC donated the trophy.
The club hold training sessions at Stratfield Brake on Sundays (10am). Contact is Andy Baulch at the club.
