Chester City should learn their Blue Square Premier fate later today.
The Cheshire side have yet to play a match this season, with their two scheduled games called off under the orders of the Football Association.
Each Blue Square club was asked to vote on whether they felt Chester should be allowed time to satisfy their membership requirements.
Oxford United secretary Mick Brown confirmed the U’s voted in favour.
The FA and Conference will meet today to discuss the issue, and expect to reach a decision.
Oxford are due to face Chester at the Kassam Stadium next Tuesday.
