Shiplake's relegation from Division 1 was confirmed with a 5-1 defeat at Headington on a night when torrential rain washed out all but three of the 13 fixtures in the Oxford & District League, sponsored by Yarnton Nurseries.
Headington’s 71-49 victory on shots also clinched them the runners-up spot behind newly-crowned champions Banbury Central.
South Oxford, who had a free week, are promoted from Division 2, while Woodstock are relegated following a 5-1 defeat at Thame.
Three points from a washout against Banbury Chestnuts was also not enough to save Blackbird Leys from the drop.
Kidlington closed the gap on Division 3 leaders Witney Mills to four points with a 5-1 win at relegated Chipping Norton.
The top two now go head to head for the championship in the last game.
With all the Division 4 fixtures washed out, Headington B are now certain of promotion.
