Former Oxford City goalkeeper Stuart Nelson has signed a one-year deal with Aberdeen.
The 27-year-old, who left City in March 2002 for the then Conference sde Doncaster Rovers, went on to have spells with Hucknall Town, Brentford, Leyton Orient and most recently Norwich City.
"It is a massive club in Scotland," he said. "Everybody talks about Celtic and Rangers, but even south of the border everybody knows about Aberdeen and that was a massive pull for me coming here.
"It's going to be a challenge, but I am up for that challenge."
