Former Oxford City winger Ikechi Anya could be facing the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo after making a dream move to Spanish giants Sevilla.
Anya, 21, a pacy forward, has signed a two-year contract with a further two-year option at the La Liga high-fliers after some impressive performances at the Glenn Hoddle Academy Club in Spain The Scottish-born player joined City in August 2007 and played 17 times scoring four goals after being released by Wycombe Wanderers. He later joined Halesowen before joining the Glenn Hoddle Academy Club last summer, having impressed at initial trials at Chelsea’s training ground in Cobham.
Anya, who was a youth player with Oxford United, had a spell at Northampton Town towards the end of last season.
