Freeland secured a thrilling victory over Oxford in the final of the Under 15 Lady Taverners Tournament, held at Great & Little Tew CC.
The west Oxfordshire side restricted Oxford to 55-4 off their ten overs, despite Caitie Burton’s 25 not out.
But seemingly cruising to victory, a flurry of wickets – including three run outs – meant Abi Flory’s unbeaten 28 proved crucial as her side sneaked home for a three-wicket win.
Freeland now progress to the regional finals in August.

Group B: Oxford 89-2 (E Milward 25no, E Bartram 24), Charlbury 75-2 (A Currie 28no), Oxford 101-2 (K Isle 25no), Aston Rowant 62-1 (E Walker 21), Aston Rowant 68-0 (E Walker 26no), Charlbury 52-2.
Final: Oxford 55-4 (C. Burton 25no); Freeland 57-7 (A Flory 28no, E Milward 2-20).
