OXFORDSHIRE qualified for the semi-finals of County Top Two Fours at Worthing on Saturday, August 15 after winning the regional final at Winchmore Hill, Middlesex.
Oxon beat Kent 44-30 in their opener, with the four of Howard Watts, Mark Sykes, Nick Rae-Welsh and Keith Holloway starring with a 31-12 win over Paul Barnicott.
Although Greg Moon, Alan Prew, Stuart Richens and Jon Philpott lost 18-13, Oxon had done enough for victory.
In their second match, both rinks won in a 45-27 victory over Berkshire.
Greg Moon’s four triumphed 25-12, with Howard Watts’s side winning 20-15.
