Ashley Walton and Donovan Henderson-Sowerby both came through play-offs to land BB&O titles at East Berkshire.
Walton (Frilford Heath) pipped Beaconsfield’s Robert Christian to win the mid-age (over 25s) crown, while Burford’s Henderson-Sowerby edged out Will Cooper (Woburn) for the colts (under 25) prize.
Rounds of 71 and 73 saw Walton, who plays off plus one, tie with Christian on 144 before he clinched the play-off.
The colts event was even more dramatic with Henderson-Sowerby finally overcoming Cooper at the fourth extra hole after a great battle.
Earlier, Henderson-Sowerby, a two-handicapper, shot rounds of 71 and 70 for a 36-hole total of 141, which Cooper matched with 74 and 67.
Henley’s James Brockington finished just behind in third on 142, while Oxford City’s Adam Wootton was tenth on 149.
