Centre half Barry Quinn continued his recovery from an ankle injury by attending the National Sports Centre at Lilleshall this week.
The Dubliner is expected to join up with the others in training next week.
"I have always had it in my mind to get back playing before the end of the season and hopefully after Lilleshall I can make that next important step,” Quinn told United’s website.
