Witney Utd 1 (Henderson 41)

Kidlington 2 (Flanagan 56, Styles 80)

Andy Styles returned to his former club to all-but end Witney United’s outside title hopes in the Premier Division on Saturday.

Styles bagged the winner for Kidlington ten minutes from time as his side fought from behind to snatch the points.

Witney went in front just before the break when former Kidlington player Ryan Curtin sent a corner in for Lee Henderson to head home from close range.

A ferocious hail-storm changed the condition of the pitch, and on a slick surface, Gary Wickens almost doubled Witney’s lead justafter the break.

But Kidlington pulled level soon after when Jimmy Deabill flicked the ball on to Mark Flanagan, who let fly into the far corner.

This lifted the visitors, and Deabill set up the winner, passing to former Witney man Styles, who took one touch before firing into the top corner.

Marlow Utd 1 (Dickens 42)

Abingdon Tn 0

Abingdon Town lost this crucial relegation.

The home side were reduced to ten men when Nick Flint headbutted Tom Larman.

But despite the numerical advantage, Marlow when in front when a shot from Adam Dickens on the right deceived Town keeper Gareth Walker.

The second half was frustrating for Town, Mark Simms volleying just over, while Jason Thomas and Danny Morgan also went close.

Carterton 0

Hook Norton 2 (Johnson 14, 81)

Ricky Johnson netted a double as Hook Norton ended a run of seven league games without a win at Kilkenny Lane.

Johnson put Hooky in front when he intercepted a clearance and slid the ball past advancing keeper James Domm.

Hooky secured the points when good work by Pete Moulder set up Johnson, who made no mistake from 12 yards.
