Launton Sports 5 (Parrack 27, Blake 40, Price 52, Prince 76, 87)

Rayners Lane 0

Launton produced a stunning performance as they thumped Rayners Lane in Division 1 East to boost their hopes of avoiding relegation.

They went in front when Gareth Price set up Lee Parrack to hammer home.

The lead was doubled five minutes before the break, Ryan Blake turning his marker before lobbing the ball over the advancing keeper.

Seven minutes after the break, Price made it 3-0, before David Champ set up substitute Matt Prince, who nipped in between two defenders before placing the ball over the rooted keeper.

Prince added his second three minutes from time to complete the rout.

Clanfield 1 (Shand 37)

Cheltenham Saras 0

Craig Shand scored the only goal as Clanfield’s recent good form continued in Division 1 West.

Shand was denied early on by a brilliant last-ditch tackle from Paul Ireland, and he also went close on 20 minutes, seeing an effort deflected wide.

But Clanfield weren’t to be denied, and went in front when a superb cross by Ben Acock saw Shand power home a bullet header.

After the break, Mark Odom saw a shot fly wide of a post and 16-year-old man-of-the-match Karl Dickenson headed just over the cross bar from a Steve Olphert free-kick.

Wootton Bassett Tn 2 (Banks 44, Everett 49)

Letcombe 2 (Whatley 22, 62)

Letcombe were unfortunate not to take all three points after a fine display at Wootton Bassett.

They took the lead midway through the first half when Tom Broad’s free-kick was only parried by Bassett keeper Stuart Thompson and Iain Whatley drove home the loose ball.

The home side were level just before half time when Letcombe keeper Steven Vaux allowed a Ryan Banks free-kick to spin through his hands.

Eddie Everett put Bassett ahead at the start of the second half.

But Whatley equalised with a fine header mid-way through half.

In stoppage time, Lyle Gifford appeared to be pulled back in box, but the referee waved away the Letcombe appeals for a penalty.
