Broughton pulled off a big shock as the Oxfordshire Senior League Division 2 side sent Division 1 side Charlton crashing out of the President’s Cup at the second-round stage.

And they did it the hard way, coming from 2-0 down before sealing a 3-2 upset.

It looked all over for the underdogs as a first-half double from Chris Stalker saw Charlton cruise into a 2-0 lead.

However, a Peter Vaughan brace and a Mark Tyler goal saw Broughton complete the turnaround.

Bletchingdon squeezed to a 1-0 victory at a depleted Stonesfield.

After a goalless first half, Richard Wells fired Bletchingdon ahead, and although Stonesfield battled hard, they were unable to make the breakthrough.

Mansfield Road won 3-1 at Long Crendon.

Luis McGillycuddy rifled into the roof of the net to give Mansfield the lead, only for Tim Rantle to level from the penalty spot before half-time.

After the break, a Greg Jones penalty saw Mansfield take control, before Tommy Allen netted No 3.

Robbie Wyatt scored the winner as Chadlington won 1-0 at Slade Farm.

The goal arrived on 20 minutes when he latched on to an under-hit backpass before toe-poking the ball past two defenders on the line.

After a 30-yard shot from James Allen hit the the Chadlington bar, before Slade goalkeeper Nick Lacey saved Ady Holder’s weakly-struck penalty.

Enstone Sports strolled to a 5-1 win against Eynsham.

The match was preceded by a minute’s silence for Ryan Bott who was tragically killed in a road accident 12 months ago. A wreath was also laid on the centre circle.

Johnathan Hall headed Eynsham in front, only for James Watkins to level, before a header from Tony Bott saw Enstone take the lead after the break.

Jack Barrett netted a third, before Watkins’s second and a superb curling shot into the top corner from Danny Philips sealed it.

Adderbury Park Res made the third round of the Clarendon Cup with a 2-1 extra-time win at home to Bardwell Res.

After a goalless first half, Tim Bullard gave Adderbury the lead only for Bardwell to level and ensure extra-time.

Toby Hone hit the winner in the first period of extra-time, dinking the ball over the keeper after a mazy run.
