Banbury’s under 11 B team were edged out by two matches to one by Ampthill at Bodicote Park.
Ampthill won match one 21-14 with Alfie Wardle and Luca Catania scoring tries for Banbury, Jack Taylor and Catania adding conversions.
Banbury sealed the second match 14-7 with George Wise and Reece Lines crossing over and Alexander Bruce converting both.
Ampthill took match three 21-0 with a late scoring burst.
