Kennington stormed into the last eight of the Berks & Bucks Junior Under 13 Cup with a remarkable 13-7 victory at home to Penn & Tylers Green – after extra-time!

The teams were level at 7-7 after normal time, but Kennington ran away with the game in time added on as their opponents tired.

Kennington stormed into a 3-0 lead with goals from Nathan Merry, Anthony Mawema and Nathanael Robinson, but Penn pulled two goals back. Kennington scored twice more through Lewis Pitts before the visitors made it 5-3 at half-time.

Max Robson equalised and then in the last minute was brought down in the penalty area. Pitts completed his hat-trick from the spot.

Kennington thought that was the winner, but Penn replied from the kick-off to take the game into extra time.

The home side then took control and scored further goals through Merry, Pitts, Robinson (2) and Ishmeal Daley (2) to move into the last eight.
