The third round of the Five Disciplines League Division 1 was hosted by Headington A at Headington School where the in-form hosts increased their lead.
They won three disciplines against contenders Windrush to triumph 221-205.
The surprise of the evening was the 25-8, 25-17 defeat of Dave Soanes by Windrush newcomer Jon Bishop.
Immediately before that, Headington’s new asset, Helen Palmer, had subdued county champion Nicola Patrick 25-13, 25-22.

A brace each from Jon Bishop and Neil Rowland and Mike Peters and Terry Kirk, plus one extra, saw Windrush pip Headington A 5-4 in Men’s Division 1 of the Oxford & District League.
