Danny Osbourne hit a hat-trick as Long Wittenham Athletic crushed Uffington United 6-3 in the North Berks Cup second round.

Andy Marriott, Andy Taylor and Chris Bowler were their other marksmen, with Mark Wiseman, Nick Frost and John Gould replying.

Holders Ardington & Lockinge fought back to beat Division 3 leaders Botley United 2-1.

Chris Potter scored from the spot for Botley, but Chris Roche’s third goal in successive games and Gareth Fenton won it for Ardington.

Drayton bowed out with a 2-1 defeat at Didcot Casuals.

Lee Newport and Tom Fisher gave Didcot a 2-0 lead, before Rob Powell clawed one back.

AFC Wallingford saw off Wootton & Dry Sandford 2-0, thanks to second-half goals from Tommy Hammond and Steve Ashman.

Jamie Dutton hammered a five-timer as Saxton Rovers Res destroyed Harwell Village – who could only field ten men – 13-0 in the Nairne Paul Cup second round.

James Hawthorne (3), Jamie Gaff, Craig O’Connor, Neil Pether and Mike Quinan were among the other scorers.

Gzregorz Krawczyk hit a hat-trick as Stanford in the Vales Res hammered Challow United Res 8-0.

Max Kelly (2), Richard Eltham, Dean Grimes and Jamie Gregory were their other marksmen.

Dean O’Hagan was another hat-trick hero as Coleshill A won 8-1 at Hagbourne United Res.

James Head (2), Ryan Phillips (2) and James Bye also netted, with Gary Bayliss replying.

East Hendred Res won 2-1 against Marcham Res, with goals from Ashley Simmons and Pat Rush.

Kennington United Res beat Didcot Casuals A 6-5 in a penalty shoot-out as their tie finished 1-1 after extra time.

In Division 1, Crowmarsh Gifford came from two goals down at home to Harwell Village to win 4-2.

John-Robert Willis and Matthew Aplin put the visitors in control, only for Crowmarsh to storm back with goals from Paul Hannigan (2), Steve Gesner and Phil Hedges Faringdon Town cruised to a 4-0 home win against basement boys Harwell International.

Garry Sutton bagged a brace, with Dan Courtney and Paul Hulme also on target.

Faringdon Town Res edged out Sutton Courtenay 4-3 in Division 2, thanks to goals from James Tyler (2), Robbie Harrington and Craig Whittle.

Warborough & Shillingford climbed clear of the drop zone with a 3-1 win against Grove Rangers.

Grahame Dallaway, Adam Oram and Russell Thynne netted for Warborough, with Alex Eltham replying.

In Division 3, unbeaten Shrivenham won 5-1 at Childrey United.

Neil Sutton and Paul Sanders netted doubles, with James Wilkins also on the mark.

There was a real family affair in Hagbourne United’s 2-2 draw at Division 4 leaders Faringdon Town A, with a father and son lining up for both sides.

Trevor (44) and Stuart Sears (17) played for Faringdon, and Ian (44) and Liam Jones (17) for Hagbourne.

Dave Proctor bagged a brace for Hagbourne, with Stuart Sears and Lee Moss netting for Faringdon.
