Witney crushed Bicester 46-7 at Hailey Road.

The home side dominated up front, winning nine Bicester scrums and eight lineouts, as well as scoring seven tries.

Flanker Will Worrall opened the try-scoring for Witney, and wing Phil Gouldie almost added to their tally before knocking on.

Witney centre James Lamb added a penalty, but Bicester hit back when Steve Risbridger put centre Anthony Lewis in for a try, which the former converted.

After that, it was all Witney, with wing Lewis Collins finishing off a sweeping move down the right and Lamb converting.

Next, Worrall put lock Owen Fowler across, and seven minutes before the break, Collins added his second.

In the second half, fly half George Bibby sent Lamb in for try, which the latter converted.

Bicester had flanker Jeremy Liddy sin-binned, and then saw Witney scrum half Gareth Campbell go over.

Lamb converted this and a final try from full back Carl Strutt, who entered the line at pace and hurtled under the posts.

Grove thrashed Swindon 40-10, but Chipping Norton crashed 46-5 at home to Buckingham.

The visitors took the lead with a penalty, but Chippy hit back with Sam Townsend scoring.

Buckingham took advanatage when the game wasn’t stopped with Ben Millard and Brin Walker lying injured. They scored under the posts and led 22-5 at the break.

Chippy lost fly half Adam Smith to what looked like a long-term injury with 12 minutes left.

They then lost their discipline with Barry Nutt and Craig Korszewski sin-binned, leading to three converted tries and a penalty from Buckingham.
