Kidlington 0

Harrow Hill 2 (Weyman pen 52, Freeman 82)

Kidlington's season plunged to a new low on Saturday as they contrived to lose at home to the Premier Division’s bottom club.

Harrow Hill, who had not won one of their previous 15 games, triumphed with two second-half goals.

Jimmy Deabill had two good chances for Kidlington during a quiet first 45 minutes, while Lewis Gabbidon should have put them ahead just after the break.

The game turned in the 52nd minute when Nick Bayliss was adjudged to have tripped Shaun Buckland in the penalty area. Eddie Weyman fired Harrow Hill ahead from the spot.

Kidlington showed their frustration by having three players booked before Harrow Hill sealed their victory though Will Free-man’s shot eight minutes from time.

Abingdon Tn 1 (Davies 6)

Highworth Tn 4 (Hill 37, Dingle 62, 81, Smith og 90+4)

Abingdon Town slumped to their sixth successive defeat, although they were not flattered by the final scoreline.

Indeed the much-changed Ab-ingdon line-up actually led for more than half-an-hour, after go-ing ahead in the sixth minute. On-loan defender Matt Davies headed home from a corner.

After Ben Green went close to making it 2-0, Highworth equal-ised when skipper Gary Hill fired past Gareth Walker from close range.

Highworth took the lead in the second half through Tom Dingle, despite appeals for off-side, and he scored again nine minutes from time.

Town’s woe was completed deep into injury time when skipper Ian Smith deflected a cross past Wal-ker for an own goal.

Wantage Tn 0

Reading Tn 2 (Spence 43, Geraldes 49)

Wantage Town, missing four regulars, never got into a game of few chances.

Towards the end of the first half, Reading broke away and Ray Spence turned quickly to wrong-foot Rob Durant in the Wantage goal.

The killer goal came early in the second half when a long-range free-kick was struck home by Duncan Geraldes.

For Wantage Gavin Jones occasionally threatened, but front-men Tom Cadden and Paul Day had little joy.
