Riley A go marching on in the Oxford and District Billiards League, with their fifth maximum win, their latest victims being Thame.
Matthew Challen (+40) gave Riley A the perfect start with three breaks of 20 in beating Tom Fletcher (+80) 200-178. He led by a single point 177-176 before knocking in a break of 20.
Allan Copelin (+90) made it 2-0 with a 22 break in outscoring Peter Hawkes (+130) 150-145. Malcolm Bough (+70) then completed th whitewash, making breaks of 22 and 34 to beat Nigel Bossom (scratch) 200-15.
Fieldside crushed CCC B 3-0 at Cowley Con Club. Norman Woodcock (+70) beat Ken Olive (+70) 150-93.
Mike Chapman (+100) secured his eighth victory, squeezing past Neil Kirby (+110) 100-96, and Paul Robinson (-60) made breaks of 22, 26 and 33 to see off Brian Mabbutt (+20) 200-145.
CCC A triumphed 2-1 away to Division 2 leaders Ashton.
John Street (+70) levelled the match beating Arthur Coakley (+90) 150-133. But Keith Pearce (+50) saw off Terry Chambers (scratch) 200-159 to clinch victory.
