Oxford United could have another game moved to a Thursday night for Setanta.

Their Blue Square Premier match at Cambridge United, scheduled for Tuesday January 27 has been pencilled in for Thursday, January 29, live on Setanta.

But it may yet depend on possible FA Trophy replays and Setanta Shield dates.

There is no new date yet for United’s home game against Forest Green, which has had to be postponed from Saturday, November 29, because of the FA Cup second round.

KIDDERMINSTER are the visitors to the Kassam Stadium next Tuesday and there’s one player, in particular, to look out for.

Striker Justin Richards, who was with Oxford last season, is second in the Blue Square Premier goalscoring charts, his winner at Rushden & Diamonds last Saturday taking his tally to 12 this campaign.

He gave probably the best performance of any forward against Oxford this season, in Harriers’ 1-0 win on September 13, when he and Matthew Barnes-Homer combined beautifully up front.

Unlike some others, Richards is not one who got away, however.

Kidderminster always wanted him back from his loan spell at Oxford.

However, you can understand why many United fans feel frustrated as they look at the list of leading scorers in the Conference, because three of the top five are former Oxford players.

As well as Richards, there’s Torquay’s Tim Sills on 13 goals, and Wrexham’s Jefferson Louis on ten.

Conference leading scorers: Sills (Torquay) 13, Richards (Kidderminster) 12. Morison (Stevenage) 12, McEvilly (Cambridge) 11, Louis (Wrexham) 10.

UNITED’S Community department are staging their Junior Christmas party on December 7 (12-3pm) at the Kassam Stadium.

There will be plenty of fun games to take part in, including face painting, Wii games, Santa’s grotto and question time with players.

Lunch is provided by sponsors ASDA.

The event, exclusive to United juniors, costs £10.
