Former Oxford City and Witney United defender Rob Cruse has been left fighting for his life after being involved in a serious road accident.
The 24-year-old, who had just signed for FTL Futbol Hellenic League side Almondsbury, crashed his car on the A40 near Cheltenham and was taken to the intensive care department at Cheltenham General Hospital. Cruse suffered a fractured femur and a spine injury.
