Steve Brazier (2) and Matt Thomp-son put Royals in charge, before Bampton hit back through Steve Godfrey, Jason Trinder and Dan Oyston.

Ben Crossman, Dean Mays, Dan King and Dan Crossman were on target as Hailey beat West Witney 4-1, Scott Walters replying.

Aston returned to winning ways as they beat Milton 3-0 in Division 1 There was a brace for Joe Hewer, with Pete Saunders adding No 3.

Dan Smith led the way with a brace, and there were also strikes for Dave Rose and Steve Brennan.

Tackley slipped to a 3-1 defeat against Chipping Norton Town.

FC Nomads and Kingham AB drew 2-2. Bennett Jones and Michael Barrass gave Kingham the lead, only for Darren Craig and Mark Thomas to earn a point for Nomads.

Southrop eased to a 3-0 win against West Witney Res, thanks to strikes from Simon Williams and Shane Imms and a Stephen Henderson own goal.

Luke Rand and Tom Gonzales were on target as Wootton Sports beat Wychwood Forest 2-0.

In Division 3, a rampant Witney Royals Res thumped FC Chequers Res 8-1, with Chris Pardew scoring a hat-trick.

Loyd Edwards (2), Mark Hoddy, Russell Plumb and Colin Morris were also on target, with Simon Moore bagging Chequers’ reply.

FC Mills Res picked up their first points as they beat Hailey Res 2-1.

Fou Fou Othmani and Rob Debanks scored their goals, with Stu Morrison netting for Hailey.
