An injury-ravaged Wallingford lost 35-18 at Salisbury in South West 2 East, who they had pipped in the cup four weeks before.
Salisbury captain Liam Gilbert kicked two early penalties as they made a strong start.
Wing Jackson Sayce hit back with a penalty for Wallingford after the hosts had a try dissallowed.
Salisbury were soon rewarded with a try for wing Ollie Elford.
Wallingford lost flanker Shaun Bailey and hooker Ed Fernyhough to ankle and rib injuries, while a second Sayce penalty reduced the arrears.
Salisbury full back Phil Carr raced in unopposed from 35 metres with Gilbert converting for an 18-6 half-time lead.
Early in the second half, No 8 Jack Fishwick crashed over, with Gilbert converting.
Flanker Sean Barwick was next to score for Salisbury, but Wallingford rallied with a fine try from Richard Turner, converted by Sayce, after good work from Johnny Collett and Henry Pooler.
Sayce bagged a second Wallingford try after gathering flanker Pete Holton’s delicate chip.
Fishwick was yellow-carded late on, but Salisbury still managed the final try through lock David Thorpe.
Henley Wanderers lost 14-3 at home to Reading Abbey.
