Harwell earned a creditable 10-10 draw at home to Drifters in the BB&O Premier Division.
The hosts scored from their first real attack on 20 minutes when Carl Blewett’s break set up Ben Lacy’s try and Dave Beaven converted.
Drifters kicked a penalty after the break, but Beaven replied in kind.
A converted try then brought the scores level.
A forward pass denied Drifters a winning try in the last move of the match.
A weakened Gosford All Blacks side lost 62-0 at Amersham & Chiltern.
Gosford’s solitary encouragements came from the efforts of veteran Brian Strong as a replacement hooker, alongside hard-working trio Eugene Griffin, Dan Hughes and Andy Buckingham.
