Oxford United's official running club marked a major milestone with its biggest turnout yet, featuring a special guest.
Almost 100 runners took part in the event on Tuesday, August 5, including Oxford United head coach Aaron Ramsey, who officially joined the United Run Dept. (URD) squad.
Ramsey led a 5km run, mixing with regular URD members and several new faces.
The club, which has been organising monthly events across the county for the last 18 months, has quickly gained popularity.

It aims to connect fans, staff, and the wider Oxford community through a shared love of running and wellbeing.
The former Arsenal midfielder, who joined Oxford United in June, participated in a question-and-answer session, discussing his playing career, transition into club life, and future ambitions.
Ramsey also took in good spirits a question about whether he had forgiven club captain Cam Brannagan for his long-range strike during Ramsey’s first game as Cardiff City caretaker manager.
After the Q&A, Ramsey led the group on a 5km route starting and finishing at the club's training centre.
The run, as always, provided an opportunity for guests to connect with both familiar and new faces.
It concluded with sweet treats from URD's official partner, Missing Bean Coffee Roasters, alongside numerous photos and selfies with the special guest.
URD was recognised with the Bronze Award for Best Fan Engagement by a Club at last season's Football Business Awards.
