Three players from Oxford United have received international call-ups for upcoming matches.

Ciaron Brown, Brodie Spencer, and Jamie McDonnell have been included in Northern Ireland’s squad for summer friendlies against Guinea on June 4 in Portugal and France on June 8 in Lille.

Responding to the news, Oxford United said: "All the best with your national teams."

Meanwhile, forward Aidomo Emakhu has earned his first senior call-up for the Republic of Ireland for their May friendly against Grenada.

Emakhu, 22, previously featured for Ireland’s Under-21 and Under-19 sides, earning 12 caps and scoring four goals at Under-21 level.

The striker joined Oxford from Millwall on deadline day in the January transfer window, seeking more regular first-team opportunities.
