Bicester’s young triathletes are making a mark.

Juniors from Bicester Triathlon Club have delivered standout performances at the British Triathlon Performance Assessments, as well as at the Llanelli Super Sprint and Sprint races.

A total of 12 athletes competed across Youth A and Junior categories, with events held at Nottingham University, Kendrew Barracks and Llanelli.

The club has extended its thanks to Bicester Motion for continued access to its closed road cycling facility, which provides a safe environment for training.

The results are being celebrated as a testament to the club’s coaching team and development pathway.

Bicester Triathlon Club athletes are part of the South West Academy and Development squads and compete in South West and South-Central colours.

Focus now shifts to upcoming competitions, including an aquathlon in Lochore, Scotland, followed by heats and finals at Mallory Park next month.

Coaches and supporters are hopeful the strong start to the season will continue.
