Prior to the international break, the U’s won both their home games, against Norwich City and Preston North End, while losing by one goal at Coventry City and Blackburn Rovers.

Eric Bocat
The 25-year-old French left back joined the Potters from Belgian Pro League side Sint-Truidense during the summer for a reported fee of just over £1 million.
Bocat has started all four league games so far this campaign, playing every single minute, and has made a strong impression at the bet365 Stadium.
Ashley Phillips
Another defensive reinforcement this summer was centre back Phillips on loan from Tottenham Hotspur.
The 19-year-old joined on August 23, and made his debut four days later, starting the 5-0 hammering at Middlesbrough in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
He helped keep another clean sheet as the Potters won 1-0 at Plymouth Argyle last time out.
Andrew Moran
The 20-year-old attacker joined the Potters on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion, and has featured in all four games since arriving.
Able to play in a variety of attacking midfield positions, Moran spent last season on loan at Blackburn, where he scored twice in 35 league appearances.
He’s won one cap at senior level for the Republic of Ireland.
Lewis Koumas
Another exciting attacker with plenty of potential is 18-year-old Koumas, on loan from Liverpool.
The son of former Tranmere Rovers and West Bromwich Albion playmaker Jason Koumas, he can play out wide or as a centre forward.
The teenager is enjoying his first loan spell, after scoring on his Liverpool debut against Southampton in the Emirates FA Cup last season, with two goals so far for the Potters.
He’s already picked up four caps for Wales, and made his first start during the recent international break.
Million Manhoef
A Netherlands Under-21 winger, Manhoef has been with the Potters since the end of January.
He joined from Vitesse Arnhem, and scored four times before the end of last season.
Manhoef has already bagged three goals this campaign, and at just 22, could be one of the Championship’s breakout stars this season.
Tom Cannon
The 21-year-old striker joined the Potters on loan from Leicester City on deadline day, and could make his debut this weekend.
He came through the Everton academy, and signed for Preston on loan in the second half of the 2022/23 campaign.
Cannon netted eight times in 20 games for the Lilywhites, and then joined the Foxes last summer.
