OXFORD United will face a trip to Sky Bet Championship rivals Coventry City in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
First half goals from Tyler Goodrham and Matt Phillips ensured the U’s made it to the second round with a 2-0 victory at home against Peterborough United on Tuesday night.
Des Buckingham’s side of course face the Sky Blues away in league action on Friday night, meaning United will have two trips to the Coventry Building Society Arena in a very short period of time.
