Lewis Coyle has extended his stay at Oxford City with a new contract.
The midfielder joined the Hoops in 2020/21 from local side Kidlington and has now signed a one-year contract extension.
Primarily a left-sided winger, Coyle had a very successful first season with the Hoops in the 2020/21 campaign and cemented his spot in the side as the season went on.
'Coyley', as he’s more commonly known by his teammates, has gone on to play in a number of roles for City and made his 150th appearance for the club last season.
“I’m delighted to have signed for my fifth season here,” he said.

“We know what it takes to get promoted from this level, so that has to be our objective again this season.”
The 29-year-old also won the club’s goal of the season award for his strike away at Eastleigh last campaign, remaining a key figure in the team.
Coyle is the latest Oxford City to commit his future to the club ahead of the 2024/25 season after Jos Parker, Josh Ashby, Reece Fleet and Zac McEachran all signed on.
These contract extensions help give fans a glimpse into what to expect from next season under new manager Sam Cox who was unveiled last month.
